Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 February 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ace Rocket website and services. By accessing this website or submitting a booking request, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Our Services

Ace Rocket provides tennis racquet stringing and grip replacement services. All services are subject to availability. Turnaround times are estimates only and may vary due to workload, string availability, or unforeseen circumstances.

Any advice provided regarding string type, tension, or setup is offered in good faith based on player preferences and experience, however final decisions and selections remain the responsibility of the customer.

2. Bookings and Requests

Submitting a booking request through our website does not guarantee availability. All bookings are treated as requests until confirmed by us via email, phone, or another communication method.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate and up to date. We are not responsible for delays, missed pickups, or other issues caused by incorrect contact details or incomplete instructions.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices displayed on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice. Prices and services listed online may be updated at any time.

Payment is due upon completion of the service or prior to pickup/return, as advised at the time of booking. Labour charges are non-refundable once stringing has begun.

Bulk services: for bulk work (five (5) or more racquets in a week from one customer), the sixth (6th) racquet labour is discounted to $15, subject to availability of strings and confirmation by us.

4. String Breakage and Durability

The customer acknowledges that string breakage is a normal occurrence in tennis. We do not guarantee string durability or lifespan, and we are not responsible for string breakage due to playing style, frequency of play, pre-existing string conditions, environmental factors, or manufacturing defects.

5. Racquet Condition, Frame Risk, and Tension Requests

You are responsible for ensuring that your racquet is suitable for stringing and is delivered in reasonable condition. Older, heavily used, or damaged frames may be more susceptible to breakage during stringing.

We are not liable for damage to racquet frames caused by pre-existing structural weakness, cracks, grommet damage, frame fatigue, or other latent defects. Customers should inspect their racquets prior to service and disclose any known issues.

Extreme or unusually high tension requests are performed at the customer’s risk. You are responsible for confirming that your requested tension is within the manufacturer’s recommended range. We are not liable for injury, discomfort, or performance issues related to custom tension choices.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate string model, tension, and any specific instructions before service begins. If you do not specify a string or tension, we may request clarification or proceed based on our best judgment and availability (where agreed).

Racquets should be inspected upon pickup/return. Any issues must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of collection or delivery so we can investigate and respond.

7. Pickup and Drop-off

Pickup and drop-off services are available in designated areas listed in our Areas of Service (where applicable). Customers outside these areas may request service, and any arrangement is at our discretion.

Additional fees may apply for locations outside standard service zones. Any fees will be communicated before confirmation.

8. Cancellations and Abandoned Property

Cancellations should be made at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance after booking. Where service has begun, labour charges remain payable and are non-refundable.

Racquets not collected within sixty (60) days may be considered abandoned property. We reserve the right to dispose of or sell abandoned items to recover costs, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ace Rocket is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our website or services.

Our liability for any claim arising from the stringing services (including pickup/drop-off where applicable) shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
